Kendrick Lamar na frente da ‘corrida’ aos Grammys deste ano

Kendrick Lamar volta a estar na corrida aos Grammys este ano.

O rapper que o ano passado estava indicado em  7 categorias com o seu álbum “DAMN”,  conseguiu  levar para casa todos os prémios na categoria de Rap.

Este ano, volta a estar nomeado com 8 indicações, repetindo a maioria das categorias, nomeadamente, “Álbum do ano”, “Gravação do Ano” e “Canção do ano” com o mesmo álbum, “Damn”.

Drake, Brandi Carlile, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, e Childish Gambino acompanham o rapper nas nomeações dominando as principais categorias.

A surpresa deste ano vai para o facto de os nomes mais aguardados não estarem na liderança das nomeações, Jay-Z e Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande ou Camila Cabello.

Completamente ignorados nas principais categorias,  Taylor Swift,  Ariana Grande e Camila Cabello estão nomeadas com apenas para Melhor Álbum Pop Voca, tendo Camila mais uma nomeação para Melhor Performance Pop Solo.
